Return to Play - Stage 5

Gore Court are delighted to be in a position to return to hockey after Covid-19 lockdown.  Adult training can now begin fully and league games will begin on 26th September.

Before you are able to be involved in hockey this season, you must sign up to England Hockey Participation Agreement.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT COVID-19 HEALTH - England Hockey have introduced a new rule:

A 2-minute suspension (Green Card) will be issued to any player or participant caught spitting or nose blowing without a handkerchief or tissue. The areas will also have to be cleaned by the offending player before play can continue.

If you are coaching, there may be things to consider before and while running a session.  You will need to have an attendance record for Track and Trace purposes and there must be no more than 30 people attending.  You can find England Hockey advice for coaches here and an attendance register here.  The attendance register has a self certification for being free of Covid-19 symptoms and confirmation that the individuals have sanitised their hands and kit (as necessary).  A copy must be sent to the Covid-19 officer after each session.
