25 players travelled over to Herne Bay for the first of the Herne Bay Mixed Tournaments. Largely out gunned by other teams packing their squads with high level players and Gore Court using it as an opportunity for juniors and back to hockey players to get a taste of adult hockey before next season and also backing up their progress from last season. It was also a great chance for Families to play on the same team with the Usher’s, Hogben’s. Edwards and Carter’s all taking up this challenge.
